It's a holiday and I'm going shopping - art supplies not the mall!  And this is a little atc which I haven't done in ages.

Blue Chinchin

This is a repost but it fit in with the one color portraits.  So green is still next then maybe orange and grey and yellow too.

This one color thing seems to work better with pink but here she is anyway .  And things sound so much nicer in other languages (thanks for Babel Fish).  And green is up next - or at least tomorrow.

I'm still in the pink thing here and I hope this says "My Toes" in portuguese.  And of course I had to use green what else goes with pink?

cor-de-rosa

Her name is cor-de-rosa and she's pink so of couse she's dedicated to Nina who has a thing for pink.  But she also says hi to Laura who does studies in color (and this is my study in pink) and for Mireille because well she's Mireille.

And I feel some postcard mania coming on here.  So if you would like a postcard, all you have to do is ask.

Feeling massively unambitious today so I just drew a few that are really easy now.

Beyond Paradise

This drawing's been sold and is on its way to Ann.  8 originals of the 11 in my shop gallery have been sold plus one that never even made it to the gallery.  I hope to have some more in the shop over the weekend.  There's still lots of time for that last minute gift of original art (hint).  Meanwhile if there are any drawings here that you're interested in, just let me know.

Then and Now

To celebrate my 1 year of drawing, here's a few of the very first.  The face was in Dec '04 and the still life in Jan '05 (ATCs).  I was sooo surprised when someone wanted to trade with me.  The last 2 more recent ones.  Then and now - big difference.  Amazing what endless practice does.   I hope by this time next year to be saying the same thing about the ones I'm drawing now and the ones I'll be drawing then.  And that's my New Years Goal!
