This is my living room fan, it replaced the one I broke when the bookcase hit the old one. I can still hear the sound of the those paddles breaking off. Whop, whop, whop. I stood there holding on to the bookcase and it seemed like slow motion. I was immobile. I couldn't move as they paddles dropped one by one onto the tile floor. It was like an out of body experience, like a Greek tragedy. I knew what was going to happen but I couldn't stop it. Next time the store puts the bookcase together.
And this is the last (48th) drawng in the 14th Itoya portfolio book for this year. Good thing I bought so many when they were on sale. On to #15.
The paddles look like the shimmering, glistening wings of a tiny insect. Beautiful. Congrats on finishing another sketchbook.
