Now on that day that I dropped the table on my leg, I bought this woodblock print (as well as the killer table) for $5.00 at goodwill. It's huge and really nice. I have to reframe and remat it with a lighter color mat. There's a bible verse across the bottom of the print. On the very bottom in faded pencil are the words Artist's Proof, 2 signatures (which I can't read), numbers and a date. It would have to have been printed on a very larger printer so it was either a professional artist or maybe a student. I think it's my best thrift store find yet.
I can't wait to get back to thrifting.
And I finally figured out how to sit comfortably (sort of) at the pc. I put a hardish pillow on the wheelchair seat and a pillow under my leg. My leg still hurts a bit when it's not up because the cast is rubbing now that the swelling has gone down.
Yay! You're feeling better! I sold a glass topped end table at my yard sale yesterday, and thought about you when I warned the guy, "whatever you do, don't drop that thing on your foot!" The woodblock print looks like something you would do, so it was meant to be yours. It's beautiful!
