My PC died. Everything in it's time I guess. It's been on it's last circuit for about a year now. So I've been off line for awhile this time not voluntary. I went to Best Buy to scope out the PCs and when I told the sales guy about how I was an artist and such he said oh you need an Apple. I said I prefer bananas (lame I know). He showed me the IMAC and I looked under the table and all over and it's amazing. All that stuff in the monitor - motor, memory, drive everything. Amazing. I've been trying to learn this thing and now I have to load up the scanner software and I just bought the Apple version of elements. I have a ton of drawings to post. And I'm working on a new zine.
And I might be on jury duty Monday. The last time I was called for jury duty I had an abscess. Sitting in the dentist's chair moaning about not wanting to do this and how I'd need a dr's note to get out of it. He said "I'm a doctor". So no jury duty. Now it's time to do my civic duty and serve.
And no more personal trainer. I'm on my own now. I'll probably continue to go 3x a week - MW and F. My leg still aches if I walk too much or if I sit too much and I limp at the end of the day. Even though there's no more swelling, I'll always have some circulation issues. Sometimes my foot gets bluish color and I hold it up and the pink color comes back. Joining the Y has certainly helped. Funny isn't it that I'm in better shape after the accident then I was before. Maybe I can't run but I can walk and I'm a very lucky person.
