A Wooly Book

I made a mid year resolution.  I will not buy anymore art supplies.  Well no paper art supplies. Let's make it a little bit obtainable.  I'm not sure how obtainable it's going to be but I'll try.  Now that says lots about me doesn't it?  In a few sentences I went from an absolute resolution to a well maybe I'll try.  But I will - I'm running out of space to store the stuff.

So I have these great little sketchbooks from Barns & Nobles.  They're 60 pages, acid free, 5 1/2"x8 1/2".  Just my size.  Nice smooth paper.  And I need a project because I'm getting a little bored with myself.  So each sketchbook will be one subject.  This one is woolies.  Henry Moore did a sketchbook on sheep, not a bad role model huh?  Some will look familiar because I might redraw a few of the ones I've already done.  

I wonder how long it will take to do 60 sheep?

New Favorite

Just spent the last 2 nights after work reading every single post at a new favorite - Rag and Bone. They write about "bookbinding, book arts, paper arts, the bindery, personal stuff, our kids, our travels, sometimes food and sometimes art."  And they make some beautiful art themselves.  Go for a visit and add them to your links.  Be prepared to spend lots of time there.
