A Quilt Complete

Be neat to see one of my quilt drawings as an actual quilt.  Not by me though, I don't have the patience anymore.

Quilt in progress

Based on never ending inspiration of Gees Bend and Nancy Crow.

I had the urge to quilt and saw the price of a yard of fabric and went straight for the sharpies.

 

And something more personal

My feet.  Feet are easier to draw than your hands.  You can draw 2 of them at the same time.  If you draw your hand, you can only draw one at a time.  I don't know why artists don't draw their feet more often. Makes sense right?

It's been a spotty summer for posting.  Here's another zine though.  Lots of vintage photo sites for inspiration.  These are black and white, printed on the same paper I use for drawing, using archival ink.  It's listed in my Etsy shop - www.janeysjourney.etsy.com.
