A friend asked what's with all the dots? Well I could do a whole essay about the deeper meaning of dots in my drawings and their relationship to the past and the future and the meaning of life etc. It would look really deep on my about page. But sometimes dots are just dots. And I like dots. And teapots too but I'm more an ice tea person. It's just the teapots I like.
But borders are different. There's a reason for them. It's like a quilting border. It focuses the viewers attention. And keeps the eye from wandering off the page though sometimes the drawing wanders out of the border.
